Day 2 - Create the manuscript

What is a manuscript ? A rough draft of your book before it is published is called a manuscript. In olden days people used to write it on leaves, later paper and now it is all digital. I used google docs for creating my manuscript. Is there a Template Here is a template you can use for your manuscript. Some common topics for every city includes ( Library, Farmers Market, Places to Visit, city logo/flag, City history ) What is in a book ? The minimum number of pages in a book for amazon is 24 pages. Day 3 - Creating coloring pages with Photoshop and canva
Tools : Photoshop, canva.com
- Take a picture of the place of interest and use photoshop to convert to a Pencil art.
- Some time there might not be a picture, just start with a blank page canva.com to generate a coloring page.

Day 4 - Adobe Indesign
Tools : Adobe Indesign
Use Adobe Indesign to create a book which is 24 pages and convert to pdf for publishing.

Day 5 - Review, edit and Publish
Tools : Your family and Friends.
- Send a copy of your pdf to your friends or if you are at home, take a printout of your first book and send it for review.
- Assuming you are like me who loves coloring, color your first book.

Day 6 - Gift
- Tools : Gmail
- If you do not have a gmail, ask your parent / guardian to create a kids gmail.
- Send a mail to your City Mayor there is a template below.
- Send a cop of the books to friends, family.
- Lastly don't forget to celebrate all the hard work.
- Please send in your name/details so we can list your name in the chapters at www.enheduana.org
